The Short Answer
We carry three kinds of child seat — rear-facing baby seats, forward-facing child seats and booster cushions — and you pick them while booking, €10 each. Tell us the age of each child and the right seat is fitted before the car leaves for the airport. Pushchairs travel free and do not count against your luggage.
In one line:

What Austrian Law Says
The rule in Austria sits in § 106 of the Kraftfahrgesetz. Children under 14 who are shorter than 135 cm must travel in a restraint suited to their size and weight. Above 135 cm the adult seat belt is enough, whatever the age.
There is one exception, and it is narrower than most people assume: it covers carriage in taxi vehicles. It was once wider — rental cars and guest cars were included — but a later amendment removed them, because the underlying EU directive lets member states exempt taxis and nothing else.
One rule holds either way: a child may never travel in a front seat without a proper restraint. That applies even where the exception does.
Why We Fit a Seat Regardless
Legal exceptions are written for the operator, not for the child. Physics does not read the statute book: an adult belt across a small body loads the abdomen and the neck instead of the pelvis and the shoulder, and that is precisely what a booster cushion corrects by lifting the child a few centimetres.
So we do not treat the exception as a reason to go without. We ask for the ages when you book, we bring the seats, and €10 per seat is what it costs. If you would rather use your own seat, bring it — we will fit it, and you pay nothing for it.

If a child sits between two bands — the age says booster, the height says child seat — go by height and weight, not by the birthday. Tell us both when booking and we will bring what fits.
How Many Children Fit
Every fitted child seat occupies one adult seat, which is the part families most often miscalculate. Two parents and two small children are four people and two seats — the Economy class will not do it. The Comfort and Business estates take four passengers; from five people, or when two bulky seats are involved, the Vito Tourer is the honest answer at €78 into the centre.
The boot matters as much as the seats. A family of four typically travels with two large cases, hand luggage and a pushchair — that is Vito territory, not saloon territory. When you tell us the number of bags at booking, we size the car for the luggage as well as for the people.
The Pushchair Question
Pushchairs travel free and are not counted as luggage. Bring it right to the car — the driver folds it into the boot while you get the children settled. Most airlines hand pushchairs back at the aircraft door or at oversized baggage, so you keep it through the whole terminal.
Landing with Children
Your driver tracks the flight, so a delay costs you nothing — the car simply comes later. After landing you have 60 minutes of free waiting time (45 on domestic arrivals), which is the difference between a calm nappy change and a sprint through the terminal.
Meet-and-greet is worth its €8 on a day like that: the driver waits inside the arrivals hall with a name sign and takes the heavy bags from the moment you appear, instead of you finding a pickup point outside with a tired child on your arm. Pickups between 19:00 and 07:00 carry a €4 night supplement — worth knowing when you book the late flight because it was cheaper.
